It was hard to keep order Thursday morning in the 409th District Court.
The jury was boisterous and the defendant was out of order often. That’s what happens when Goldilocks is on trial for burglary of habitation in Judge Sam Medrano’s courtroom.
“This is the rowdiest jury I’ve ever had,” said Medrano, referring to the group of third-graders from Scotsdale Elementary who took part in the mock trial of the State v. Goldilocks. About 90 students were there to learn about the justice system in a fun way.
